Cosby Lee Reynolds, 73, of West Center Street in Madisonville, died at 5:05 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 1997,at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville.

Born July 18, 1924, in Hopkins County, Ky. he was the son of the late John Allen Reynolds and Martha Ann Adkins Reynolds.

He was a retired dock worker from Chicago, a self-employed house painter in Madisonville, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by one son, three sisters, and two brothers.

He is survived by two daughters, Charlene Tucker of Madisonville, Ky. and Martha Jackson of Albany, Ga.; two sisters, Dorothy Wyatt of Hopkinsville, Ky. and Marie Johnson of Evansville, Ind.; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville, with Gerald Tyson officiating. Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

Private visitation will only be held for family members.

Harris Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
